A week or so ago I posted something or the other on FB and said “Merry Christmas” not thinking anything except to extend season greetings. To my surprise I received replies congratulating me for saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. While I truly appreciate the replies I have to tell you that was not an attempt to scoff at political correctness or anything else. In an age when we are all so connected digitally we are at the same time so polarized — not a good thing!
For me Christmas is larger than the literal celebration of a birth. It’s about family, love and charity. Regardless of what your faith may or may not be when I say Merry Christmas I’m saying I hope you have a good family and get to spend time with them over the holidays — when I say Merry Christmas I’m saying I hope you give and receive love in your life — when I say Merry Christmas I hope you enjoy the generosity or others and are generous yourself.
So here’s wishing you family, love and generosity — a very MERRY CHRISTMAS
Feliz Navidad y Felices Fiestas

This is why we love Country’s!! It has been a special place to us for 30 years. It is our first stop when returning from vacation, graduation meals, our daughters first job and even our gathering place after my dad’s funeral!! Merry Christmas, Jim and all!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours as well Jim!
MERRY CHRISTMAS BROTHER! could not have said it better myself. T
I think that’s it in a nutshell. Merry Christmas to you & your family, Jim! May God continue to bless you. 😉
